Our Founder - Al Kenney

Hello and thanks for visiting the Blue Water Fractionals website. Let me tell you a little about me.

I became fascinated by the fractional ownership concept twenty-plus years ago as it was a perfect fit for my family's lifestyle. Highly skeptical at first, mostly due to the negative reputation "timeshares" had earned, I needed to find out everything I could about them.

Being highly analytical, I decided to investigate fractional ownership in painstaking detail.  I quickly determined fractionals are completely different from timeshares. My curiosity took me to investigate a multitude of fractional programs including their contracts, rules, and regulations. I left no stone unturned in my quest to learn everything I could about how these programs worked... In short, I became the expert.

Twenty years later, I own ten fractional properties and have designed a dozen more for both owners and developers.

It all started on the Turks and Caicos Islands, we fell in love with TCI immediately, so we began to look for a fractional condominium to buy on Providenciales. There was only one fractional property on Grace Bay, and another on the other side of the island. Neither program came close to meeting my needs.

I became frustrated that I could not find what I wanted so I began putting together a fractional program I would utilize myself. Having a strong background in global strategic marketing and sales from senior positions held at companies like American Home Products, Pfizer, and Proctor and Gamble.

Add to that 20+ years of experience as an entrepreneur in the Data optimization space (Performance Wave and Alpha 1C). The BWF business was initially focused on selling fractionals, but it quickly evolved when developers came knocking wanting to understand the fractional model and what it might do for their business. For the past 10 years, our focus has been more on the developer side designing fractional programs for new developments worldwide.
